Tweed Beauties : Secret Forts + FairEnds.

A while back, I came across a partial rolL of this beautifully speckled herringbone tweed fabric. Not knowing what it might become, I bought it and in my studio it sat for some time until one day on a phone call with Mr. Fair Ends, an idea began to take shape. All these months later, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to our first of many joint efforts in the form of the classic, unstructured yet subtly sartorial five panel camp cap.
It’s always nice to work with good people and good friends and its in that spirit of like-mindedness that this beauty was born. In no time flat, FairEnds has become the purveyors of the perfect cap. This one is no exception. Made in the good ole US of A and in a limited run of 36. Classic 5 panel construction. Perfectly at home in both town and country. Head over to FairEnds to get yourself one while they’re still there for the getting. And stay tuned for further joint efforts in the coming months.

Shop the Secret Forts + FairEnds herringbone tweed camp cap HERE. And many thanks for your support.

That Time of Year : Man – New York City.

It’s that time of year in New York City. One new add to the line up this year is MAN. Created by Antoine Floch (former Surface to Air / Rendez-Vous shows) and Romain Bernardie-James and Olivier Migda from the creative agency The Imaginers in Paris, MAN brings together a roster of great brands and collections all side by side in a more intimate and personal way. “MAN intends to bring some warmth back to the industry by drawing like minded folk together; buyers, brands, designers and press in a warmer, friendlier environment.” If you’re a buyer, press, etc and so inclined, head over to 775 Washington street (Industria Studios) for a breather and to have a gander for yourself. And the photos here, Antoine Floch’s father. Awesome, I know.

MAN – New York City : January 16th-18th 2012
